Twitches Story Vessel

My story vessel is based on the Disney movie "Twitches". The structure of my pot is the pinch  pot method. I used the movie Twitches on my story vessel because I love the movie. Every Halloween i will watch this movie on Disney Channel. On one side of the pot i created the symbol used in the movie which was a crescent moon and sun. On another side i carved a princess crown and the number 21 on candles. The movie is about twin princess sister who find each other on their 21st birthday. One more thing i carved on my pot was the words "whatever major loser" this was a memorable scene in the movie for me. I placed these on my pot because they explain the plot of the movie.

Mug

          

              This is a mug I made using the slab technique.

Project of Choice

I made a coil pot with using small coils of clay and then using big strips of clay to build up the structure of the pot. I also made a cover for the top of the pot. I tried to make the structure of the cover into a lily pad with a flower and leaves on top.

           This is a 3 footed cylinder I created using the slab method.

Animal Alibrije Painting

This is a Alibrije drawing of a dolphin. Alibrijes are Mexican folk art sculptures of brightly colored creatures.

Coil Pot

I made this coil pot by layering many coils on top of each other to build its shape. I added handles to give my pot a unique shape.
